Favors from Nyx vs. Manipulative Monstrosities Game 4

I decided to make a new series to find the best Intro Deck for each release. This will help new players get the best Intro Deck for them if they want to play something like Friday Night Magic but do not know how to build a deck. What I did was put all the decks on MTG Deck Builder and then play tested them. I will play a best out of five series for each match up. In the end the deck that has the greatest percentage of victory will be the best. The first match up is Favors from Nyx and Manipulative Monstrosities.

Favors from Nyx drew an opening hand of 2 Swamp, Plains, Traveling Philosopher, Observant Alseid, Auramancer, and Vanquish the Foul and decided to keep it. Manipulative Monstrosities drew an opening hand of 2 Island, Shock, Magma Jet, Sea God’s Revenge, Crackling Triton, and Omenspeaker and decided to keep it. Manipulative Monstrosities won the roll and wanted to play second.

Turn 1:

Favors from Nyx played a Plains. Manipulative Monstrosities drew a Rage of Purphoros and played an Island.

Turn 2:

Favors from Nyx drew a Plains and played a Swamp then cast Traveling Philosopher. Manipulative Monstrosities drew Lightning Strike and played an Island and cast Omenspeaker to Scry 2. Manipulative Monstrosities Scryed Ill-Tempered Cyclops and Griptide and put them on the bottom of the library.

Turn 3:

Favors from Nyx drew Heliod’s Emissary and played the Alseid as a creature. Manipulative Monstrosities drew a Griptide.

Turn 4:

Favors from Nyx drew Pharika’s Cure and played a Swamp. Then, cast Heliod’s Emissary as a creature and attacked with the other creatures. Manipulative Monstrosities blocked Observant Alseid with Omenspeaker and took 2. Manipulative Monstrosities drew a Stoneshock Giant and discarded Rage of Purphorous.

Turn 5:

Favors from Nyx drew and played a Swamp then attacked with all creatures. Manipulative Monstrosities blocked the Alseid with Omenspeaker. Favors from Nyx cast Pharika’s Cure on Omenspeaker. Manipulative Monstrosities drew and played an Island then cast Crackling Triton.

Turn 6:

Favors from Nyx drew Ordeal of Heliod and cast it on Heliod’s Emissary then attacked with all creatures. The ordeal put a +1/+1 counter on the Emissary. Manipulative Monstrosities blocked the Alseid with the Triton. Manipulative Monstrosities drew an Island and played it then cast Griptide on Heliod’s Emissary.

Turn 7:

Favors from Nyx drew a Plains and played it then cast Heliod’s Emissary. Manipulative Monstrosities drew another Crackling Triton and cast it.

Turn 8:

Favors from Nyx drew a Swamp and cast Auramancer to get back the Ordeal and cast it on the Emissary. Then, attacked with only the Emissary and Manipulative Monstrosities blocked with a Triton. Manipulative Monstrosities drew a Lightning Strike.

Turn 9:

Favors from Nyx drew a Swamp and played it then attacked with all creatures. Manipulative Monstrosities blocked the Emissary with the last Triton and took 4. Manipulative Monstrosities drew a Omenspeaker and conceded.

Game 4 goes to Favors from Nyx
