Odric, Master Tactician was the forerunner for battalion, maybe even a way for Wizards to judge peoples reactions to that mechanic. I suppose most people thought that three creatures was too many so Wizards made the requirement down to two. Anyway, his power is less than his toughness and I always like that. Also, he has first strike so he can kill any 3 toughness creature without dying. His +1 battalion ability allows you to chose the blockers. This will allow you to swing in with no blockrs or kill of any creatures you want. The Planeswalker's Library price is $1.50
