Extort

Extort is the best of both worlds. Like detain or populate, extort can be on any type of spell. So what does it do? When you cast a spell, you may pay one white/black mana, deal 1 damage to each opponent, and gain that much life. This can be useful if you have a lot of mana and a lot of cards with extort.
