Card of the Week
Each Wednesday, I will make a Card of the Week post. This card will be from Standard. I will discuss the card's merit, tell the price from Planeswalker's Library, and give it a rating from 1 to 10.
This card is solid. In a set with a lot 1/1 spirits you can protect them from effects that deal 1 damage. Also, Gallows Warden goes well with Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, a card that puts out a lot of 1/1 spirits. Check back tomorrow for my post about all the champions so far. This card is $.25 at Planeswalker's Library.

Card of the Week
Each Wednesday, I will make a Card of the Week post. This card will be from Standard. I will discuss the card's merit, tell the price from Planeswalker's Library, and give it a rating from 1 to 10.

This week's card is the very first flip card and I don't know how I should discuss it. I think I will discuss both sides separately, then give it a rating based on both sides.
Instigator Gang: This card by itself would be great in Battalion decks. It comes into the battlefield quickly and gives attacking creatures +1/+0. On your first turn, you can play a plains and Boros Elite, then play a mountain and Wojek Halberdiers. Third turn, you play a Mountain and Warmind Infantry. During your fourth turn, you put down a plains and Instigator Gang and attack with Boros Elite, Wojek Halberdiers, and Warmind Infantry. If your opponent doesn't block, you will deal 13 damage to your opponent.
Wildblood Pack: To continue on my made up match, let's say your opponent casts a spell and Instigator Gang does not transform and you play a mountain. After the combat phase, you cast Hellraiser Goblin. Then, your opponent does not cast a spell and Instigator Gang transforms. It's your turn now and you play a plains and Aurelia, the Warleader. Because you have Hellraiser Goblin, all creatures you control have haste and you attack with everything. Your opponent takes 37 damage, so all your creatures can attack again and deal another 37 damage to your opponent. This is all assuming your opponent has no creatures and can gain enough life to let you attack a second time on turn 6. By the way, the cost on Planeswalker's Library is $1.25

Mr. LuBuFu (who makes my favorite YouTube channel) calls this card ninja snake. I think that ninja snake describes this card very well. Flash and Deathtouch go awesome together. Say your opponent is attacking with a 99/99 B.F.M. (Big Furry Monster) and you had 2 1/1's. You might think that you will die, because you can only block the B.F.M. with three or more creatures. Then you look in your hand a see Ambush Viper. Surprising your opponent you use your ninja snake and kill the B.F.M.

This card is not great but better than decent. I think this card would have been really good before Avacyn Restored. The reason being that Innistrad and Dark Ascensions had a lot of black zombies. A 2 mana 2/2 with intimidate would have been awesome against those types of decks. Now with the Ravnica block there should be more decks with white, so a Spectral Rider could easily be killed.
Rating 7 out of 10 (9 out of 10 for sets before Avacyn Restored)

Card of the Week
Sorry I was unable to do a card of the week last week. Each Wednesday, I will make a Card of the Week post. This card will be from Standard. I will discuss the card's merit, tell the price from Planeswalker's Library, and give it a rating from 1 to 10.
This card, in my opinion, is decent. It is almost the same as Murderous Redcap. I do not think it should be rare, though. And it is a little two expensive. The price at Planeswalker"s Library is $5.95.

I think this card is good because it is a solid defender with a 6 toughness and Deathtouch but also a good attacker. However, I wouldn't be attacking or blocking with this card because it would be constantly tapped. For only 3 mana you can turn a creature into a colorless artifact with defender and its abilities can't be activated. This card goes great with Alarum, a card that allows you to untap target creature. This card is only $.95 at Planeswalker's Library, and I think this is a great price.

I think that this card is pretty good. It has 4 mana for a 3/3 flier with Lightning Helix Battalion. It is a great card to attack with on your fourth turn and deal 6 damage to an opponent or take away a blocker. This card is $4.95 at Planeswalkers Library and I think it is a decent price.
